I guess my 5 or so years of not really hunting has caught up with me. I see that you forkers let the whole damn thing basically go to hell in a hand basket while I've been gone.
For starters.....when did these stupid mofos who run decoy companies start selling only 6 in a box?
And while I'm at it......it's great that we can now spend what used to be enough money for A DOZEN (because that's how decoys are supposed to be sold you ignorant arseholes) on our weight riggings alone. Fork Texas!!

I didn't buy any bond decoys. I spend my $160 on a bag of cheap blow I think. It lasted longer than the bond decoys did.

Most of us old timers have more friggin' decoys than we know where to store them. I bought all I'd ever need 15 years ago, 80% G&H. Rest are Herter's and a few Flambos. That plus goose decoys,(floaters, shells and silhouettes) and my double garage is 50% occupied chest-high.
Sounds like you take care of decoys like you do your 870....

I must be doing it wrong. I have 8-10dozen decoys hanging from the ceiling and another 3-4 dozen hand carved on a shelf. I don't have a shop full of decoys and don't own a goose decoy. I do have 5 boats though of that matters

Good thing you don't goose hunt. They sell those by the 4 pack.
I do buy duck decoys by the 6. They look a lot better than any old decoy we used to buy, besides G&H, they look the same as they always did. But I damn sure don't pay for rigging besides line and crimps. I can make my own keel grabbers and Texas rigs.
I almost feel bad for guys that have to pay retail for duck decoys.
